IDF Eliminates Hamas Nohba Commander Responsible for Kibbutz Be'eri Attack
The Israeli military and Shin Bet announced on Wednesday the elimination of Mohammed Mahmoud Marshed Al-Qadi, a Hamas Nohba battalion commander, in an airstrike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
According to the IDF and Shin Bet, Al-Qadi was a key figure in the October 7th massacre, commanding the raid on the Sufa military post. During the war, he was also involved in holding hostages captive in Rafah and led training for Hamas operatives, working to restore the organization's capabilities.
Al-Qadi actively promoted terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, systematically violating ceasefire agreements. His elimination is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle Hamas's military infrastructure and leadership.
