IDF and Shin Bet Eliminate Hamas Commander Responsible for October 7th Kibbutz Sufa Raid
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency announced the elimination of a Hamas operative, Muhammad Mahmoud Marshad Alqadi, in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. Alqadi, identified as a commander in Hamas's Nukhba force, was killed on Tuesday. According to the announcement, he led the raid on Kibbutz Sufa on October 7th.
During the ongoing conflict, Alqadi was also involved in holding hostages in Rafah. In the recent period, he was responsible for training Hamas operatives and worked to restore the organization's capabilities.
The operation marks another step in the ongoing efforts by Israeli forces to dismantle Hamas's military infrastructure and leadership following the October 7th attacks.
