IDF Eliminates Hamas Nohba Commander Responsible for October 7th Sufa Base Raid

The Israeli military and Shin Bet conducted an operation in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, on Wednesday, eliminating a Hamas Nohba commander. The targeted individual, Muhammad Mahmoud Marshad Al-Qadi, led a Nohba company within Hamas's military wing. He was identified as having participated in the October 7th attack on the Sufa military post, commanding the raid on the base. During the ongoing conflict, Al-Qadi was also involved in holding hostages in Rafah.

The strike was carried out in response to repeated violations of the ceasefire. In recent times, Al-Qadi had been responsible for training Hamas operatives and working to restore the organization's capabilities. Furthermore, he had been advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, systematically breaching the ceasefire. The operation aimed to neutralize the threat he posed.
