Hapoel Be'er Sheva Signs Forson Amankwah on Loan
Hapoel Be'er Sheva announced on Wednesday evening, during their match against Hapoel Haifa, the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Forson Amankwah on a one-year loan from Norwich City. The 23-year-old joins as a replacement for King's Kangwa in the attacking midfield position.
Amankwah's arrival comes just before the deadline for registering players for the Europa League, meaning he will be eligible to play in the competition. The midfielder previously played alongside Oscar Gloukh at Red Bull Salzburg before being acquired by Norwich for 4.5 million euros.
The 1.73m player can operate as an attacking midfielder or a right winger and has also represented the Ghanaian national team. He will fill one of Be'er Sheva's foreign player slots, joining Djibril Diop, Pedro Amador, Lucas Ventura, Joao Victor, Gabayone East, Igor Zlatanovic, and Adrian Ugrisa.
