New Hapoel Be'er Sheva Signing Amankwah Forson Spotted at Stadium

Amankwah Forson, the expected replacement for Kings Kangwa at Hapoel Be'er Sheva, was seen in the stands alongside owner Alona Barkat during the team's match against Hapoel Haifa on Saturday. Although not yet officially announced as the club's new player, the 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder was present at the Turner Stadium.

Forson is set to join the Israeli club on loan from Norwich City, with an option for Hapoel Be'er Sheva to purchase him for 2 million euros. He is reportedly arriving in playing condition, suggesting a potentially immediate integration into the team. Forson was previously acquired by Norwich from Salzburg for 4.5 million euros, where he played alongside Oscar Gloukh. His time at Norwich was described as disappointing, with injuries limiting him to 20 appearances across all competitions last season, contributing two goals and one assist.

Despite this imminent signing, Hapoel Be'er Sheva may not be finished in the transfer window. Barkat is reportedly interested in adding another Israeli midfielder at the last minute. However, beyond that potential acquisition, no further significant moves are anticipated by the club.
