Israeli Mother and Daughter Missing in Vienna Spark Urgent Search Efforts

Mali Yehulomi, 50, and her daughter Liel, 23, have been missing since early August after last being seen in Vienna. The two, experienced travelers who left for a vacation in Prague on August 4, failed to board their return flight to Israel and have not been heard from since. Their phones are switched off, and no activity has been detected on their credit cards, raising serious concerns among their family.

The last contact with Mali and Liel was on the Friday before the Sabbath, after which all communication ceased. Their family, alarmed by the sudden silence from the usually communicative travelers, immediately alerted authorities. Local police and the Israeli consulate in Vienna are actively searching for them, but so far, no leads have emerged.

The family is in constant contact with the Israeli Foreign Ministry's control room, the Israeli consul, local police, and the Jewish community in Vienna, which has joined the search efforts. As time passes, the family's anxiety grows, and they are pleading with the public to come forward with any information that might help locate Mali and Liel. Amiram Rodnik, Mali's brother-in-law, told C14 that there has been no progress yet, emphasizing the urgency and the hope that any small detail could lead to finding them and bringing them home safely.
