Lawyer Arbel Feldman Shot Dead in Rishon Lezion, Suspect Surrenders
Arbel Feldman, a lawyer, was shot and killed on Tuesday in Rishon Lezion. His partner reportedly found him wounded and called emergency services. The suspect, a 23-year-old resident of Ramla, surrendered himself to the Lakhish District Police headquarters during the manhunt and admitted to the shooting, stating, "I shot him." Amir Cohen, commander of the Central District Police, said the suspect was a dissatisfied client and is currently under investigation by the Lakhish District Police.
According to eyewitnesses, the suspect entered the building armed with a handgun, took an elevator to Feldman's office, and opened fire in front of two people before fleeing the scene. Emergency medical responders from Magen David Adom, including paramedics Naftali Halberstadt and Meir Binenfeld, arrived at the scene to find Feldman unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and with a penetrating injury. Despite medical efforts, Feldman was pronounced dead at the location.
