Suspect Arrested for Fatal Shooting of Lawyer in Rishon Lezion
A 23-year-old Arab man from Ramla was arrested after fatally shooting a 50-year-old lawyer in Rishon Lezion on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Moshe Levi Street earlier in the day. The suspect surrendered to police shortly after the shooting.
Police from the Rishon Lezion station quickly arrived at the scene, launched an investigation, and conducted extensive searches for the suspect who initially fled. Authorities suspect the shooting was carried out by one of the lawyer's clients inside his office.
Emergency medical personnel from Magen David Adom, including paramedics Naftali Halberstadt and Meir Binenfeld, reported finding the victim unconscious with a penetrating wound. Despite medical efforts, the lawyer was pronounced dead at the scene. The police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
