Client Suspected of Killing Lawyer in His Office in Rishon Lezion
Israeli police are actively searching for a suspect believed to have fatally shot a lawyer inside his office in Rishon Lezion on Tuesday. Authorities suspect the shooter was a dissatisfied client unhappy with the handling of his legal case. The suspect's identity is known to police, but he remains at large.
The murder took place on the third floor of a building on Rozhensky Street. Initial reports indicate the suspect met with the lawyer for several minutes before a loud argument erupted over the case. Shortly after, gunshots were heard and the suspect fled the scene. The lawyer, approximately 50 years old, was shot in the head.
The lawyer's partner, present in the office during the incident, heard the shots and found the victim wounded. Emergency responders arrived but pronounced the lawyer dead at the scene. Police are conducting extensive searches and gathering evidence and witness statements to apprehend the suspect.
