Lawyer Shot Dead in Broad Daylight in Rishon Lezion, Suspected Client Flees

A shocking and violent incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the industrial area of Rishon Lezion, central Israel, where a lawyer in his 50s was fatally shot inside his office. The shooting took place around 13:05 on the third floor of a building on Moshe Levi Street near Rozhensky Street, amid a busy area with many civilians and businesses. Witnesses reported hearing a loud verbal argument between the lawyer and a client moments before the shooting, which was carried out at close range.

Emergency medical teams from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom arrived quickly, alongside police forces from the Rishon Lezion station and the Shfela district. Paramedics found the lawyer unconscious and without pulse or breathing, suffering from severe penetrating wounds to his upper body and head. Despite advanced resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police sealed off the crime scene and began a comprehensive investigation, collecting forensic evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing security footage from the building and surrounding streets. Initial findings suggest the motive was criminal, likely stemming from a prolonged dispute between the lawyer and his client, possibly over legal or financial matters. The suspect fled the scene immediately after the shooting and remains at large within Israel.
