Lawyer Shot Dead in Broad Daylight in Rishon Lezion, Police Hunt Suspect
A man in his 50s, identified as a lawyer, was fatally shot today in broad daylight at his office on Moshe Levi Street in Rishon Lezion. Emergency medical teams arrived after receiving reports of a shooting victim in critical condition, but after on-site medical examination, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police from the Rishon Lezion station quickly responded, launching a wide search for the suspect who fled the scene. Authorities suspect that the shooter was a client of the lawyer, but the exact motive and circumstances remain under investigation.
Paramedics Neftali Halberstadt and Meir Binenfeld from Magen David Adom described finding the victim unconscious, without pulse or breathing, with a penetrating gunshot wound. Despite their efforts, they were unable to save him.
