Maccabi Haifa has told captain Dolev Haziza to look for a new club, saying he is not part of its plans for the 2026/27 season. That opens the door to a possible return to one of his former teams, Bnei Yehuda.
According to the report, Bnei Yehuda, which plays in the Liga Leumit, has offered Haziza a two-year contract worth $400,000 total, or $200,000 per season. Haziza played for Bnei Yehuda from 2014 to 2019, where he made the major breakthrough of his career before moving on to Maccabi Haifa.
During his spell at Bnei Yehuda, Haziza won two cups with the club, in the 2016/17 and 2018/19 seasons. Bnei Yehuda finished last season fourth in the second division with 57 points, seven points behind Hapoel Ramat Gan, which earned promotion back to the Premier League.
