Dolev Haziza Set to Join Maccabi Netanya After Leaving Maccabi Haifa

Dolev Haziza, the former captain of Maccabi Haifa, is expected to join Maccabi Netanya, marking the fourth club in his career. After a successful period at Maccabi Haifa, where he spent seven years, Haziza was released as he was not in the club's plans for the upcoming season. His agent, Ronen Katzav, is scheduled to meet with Maccabi Netanya officials to finalize the deal before the club's traditional opening training session next Tuesday, which was postponed by a week to allow the team to sign additional players.

During his tenure at Maccabi Haifa, Haziza made 247 appearances, scored 43 goals, and provided 41 assists. He was a key player and served as the team captain, contributing to three league championships and a Super Cup title. In the last season, he scored nine goals and assisted two. The move to Maccabi Netanya is anticipated to be completed in the coming days as the club aims to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
