Maccabi Haifa has informed captain Dolev Haziza that he is not part of the club’s plans for the 2026/27 season, so he is expected to look for a new team. The report says this follows a season in which he started in the lineup for most of the year, yet the club is already planning without him for the long term.
Haziza is under contract through the end of the 2026/27 season, and his deal carries a high salary of about 350,000 euros per year. There is no release clause in the contract. When he signed, he was the second-highest earner at Maccabi Haifa, behind former Green player Dia Saba, and he remains one of the club’s top-paid players.
The publication date on the report is June 21, 2026, at 16:43. With Haifa making clear it does not intend to build around him for next season, Haziza’s future at the club now appears to be over despite his captaincy and current contract.
