Maccabi Haifa has told captain Dolev Haziza to find a new club, informing him that he is not part of its plans for the 2026/27 season. Despite that, Haziza could return to a former team, Bnei Yehuda, which has reportedly offered him a two-year contract worth $400,000, or $200,000 per season.
Haziza played for Bnei Yehuda from 2014 to 2019, where he made the breakthrough that eventually led him to Maccabi Haifa. During that spell, he won two state cups with the club, in 2016/17 and 2018/19.
Bnei Yehuda finished the last season in fourth place in the Liga Leumit with 57 points, seven behind Hapoel Ramat Gan, which was promoted back to the Israeli Premier League.
