Maccabi Haifa has informed captain Dolev Haziza that he is not in the club’s plans for the 2026/27 season. The winger, who started most matches this past campaign, is now expected to look for a new team.
Haziza is under contract through the end of the 2026/27 season and earns about 350,000 euros per year. The deal does not include a release clause. At the time he signed, he was the club’s second-highest earner after former Haifa player Dia Saba, and he remains one of the top-paid players at the club.
The report, published by Sport 5 on June 21, 2026 at 16:43, says Haifa made clear to Haziza that it is not building around him for next season. That means the captain is unlikely to continue at the Carmel club beyond his current deal.
