Maccabi Haifa Captain Dolev Haziza Trains as Transfer Options Open Up
Maccabi Haifa opened preseason training on Tuesday night ahead of the 2026/27 campaign, a season in which the club will not play in Europe. Among the familiar faces at the session was captain Dolev Haziza, who is not part of the coaching staff’s plans for the coming season, according to a report first published by Sport 5.
Haziza, one of the top players in the Israeli Premier League in recent years, scored nine goals this season. He is now waiting for offers from leading clubs in Israel and abroad, while his representatives are already considering several options early in the transfer window.
Haziza still has one more year left on his contract with the Greens. Other players who attended the opening training session under Barak Bachar included Dixon Muhammad and Yarin Levi.
