Maccabi Haifa to Compensate Dolev Haziza Following Contract Termination
Maccabi Haifa has agreed to pay approximately 120,000 euros to midfielder Dolev Haziza as part of terminating his contract. Haziza has already agreed to terms with Maccabi Netanya and is expected to officially sign and join the team coached by Ronny Levy after the Jewish fast day of Tisha B'Av. The compensation from Maccabi Haifa is intended to offset the contract termination, with the club estimating that Haziza will receive a higher salary than the standard at Maccabi Netanya, meaning he is unlikely to suffer financially compared to his previous contract for the upcoming season at Haifa.
Haziza, who joined Maccabi Haifa in the 2019/20 season and even served as team captain, was informed he was no longer part of the club's professional plans and was excluded from the training camp. He is expected to begin training with Maccabi Netanya next week and become the most significant Israeli signing for the club so far. This move marks a new chapter in Haziza's career after several impactful seasons with Maccabi Haifa.
