Maccabi Netanya Nears Signing Dolev Haziza Pending Salary Approval from Maccabi Haifa
Maccabi Netanya is close to officially signing midfielder Dolev Haziza, pending Maccabi Haifa's approval to cover his salary for the first season. The club expects to announce the deal before training begins next week. As a sign of confidence, Netanya has reserved the number 8 jersey, previously worn by Yuval Sadeh, specifically for Haziza, despite other players requesting it.
Meanwhile, coach Ronny Levy has appointed Oz Bilu as the vice-captain, second to Karam Jaber. Bilu faces competition from Alon Azugi for a starting position and will wear the captain's armband if he does not start, with Maor Levy next in line.
