Maccabi Netanya Negotiates Dolev Haziza Signing Amid Squad Reinforcements

Maccabi Netanya is actively pursuing the signing of midfielder Dolev Haziza, offering him a two-year contract through his agent Gilad Katzav. Despite financial gaps revealed in discussions led by CEO Gil Lav, sources familiar with the negotiations say the differences are bridgeable if both sides show flexibility. The club is also seeking to strengthen its squad with additional players, including a defender, a midfielder, and two wingers, aiming to boost team quality and accelerate season ticket sales, which have not met owner Ross Kestine's expectations.

Netanya will play its second preseason match on Wednesday against the stronger Polish team Odra Opole. Meanwhile, the club secured a future financial interest in young player Lee Yam Dan, who transferred to Maccabi Petah Tikva without a fee but with a 15 percent sell-on clause retained by Netanya. The club continues efforts to enhance its roster ahead of the upcoming Israeli Premier League season.
