Israeli authorities have apprehended a new suspect in an ongoing espionage investigation, uncovering a connection to an individual previously charged in the case. The investigation centers on Hamdan Hamdan, an Arab citizen of Israel residing in Majd al-Krum, who is suspected of carrying out security-related tasks for a foreign agent based in Lebanon.
During the probe, it was revealed that Hamdan is related to Amir Hisham Muhammad Titi. Titi was indicted in July on charges of spying for Iran. Titi, an ambulance driver from Be'er Sheva, allegedly photographed Israeli President Isaac Herzog and the area surrounding the home of former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, according to the charges filed against him.
