Israeli Security Forces Arrest Man for Alleged Espionage for Lebanon
Israeli security forces have arrested Hamdan Hamdan, a 32-year-old resident of Majd al-Krum, on suspicion of carrying out security missions under the direction of a foreign agent. The investigation, conducted by Lahav 433 and the Shin Bet, revealed that Hamdan had been in contact with a female agent from Lebanon for several months.
During this period, Hamdan was allegedly tasked with performing security-related missions. Investigators believe Hamdan was aware that his contact was with a Lebanese entity. In exchange for his alleged services, attempts were made to pay him by purchasing goods in Israel and transferring them to him.
A indictment is expected to be filed against Hamdan on Sunday, September 20th.
