Poll Shows Religious Zionism Party Gains Strength Amid Likud Decline
A new poll indicates a continued decline for the Likud party, which would secure 18 seats if elections were held today. However, the right-wing bloc remains stable due to a significant surge in support for the Religious Zionism-Identity party, which has risen to 6 seats.
The " Lazar Research " poll, conducted for the "Maariv" newspaper, found that "Yesh!" would be the largest party with 23 seats, followed by Likud with 18. The "Together" party would receive 13 seats, while "Democrats" and "Yisrael Beiteinu" would each get 9 seats.
Other parties' projected seat counts include Otzma Yehudit with 8, United Torah Judaism and Shas with 7 each, the Joint Arab List with 7, Religious Zionism and Identity with 6, Ra'am with 5, and "Am Israel" with 4. The reservists' economic party also surpasses the electoral threshold with 4 seats.
According to the poll, the coalition bloc supporting Netanyahu would garner 50 seats, while the opposition bloc would have 54. Arab parties collectively would receive 12 seats. The reservists' economic party, whose bloc affiliation is unclear, holds 4 seats.
