New Poll Shows Gadi Eisenkot's Party Slipping, Ben-Gvir's Challenged by Ofer Winter
A new poll released by i24NEWS indicates that the Likud party maintains its strength with 27 Knesset seats, while other parties experience fluctuations. Gadi Eisenkot's "Yash!" party has seen a decline, dropping to 21 seats from 22 in the previous survey.
Within the right-wing bloc, a shift is occurring between Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit and Ofer Winter's "Am Yisrael" party. Winter's party is gaining, rising to 5 seats, while Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit has decreased to 7 seats.
Despite these internal party movements, the overall bloc numbers remain consistent with the prior poll. The current coalition is projected to receive 60 seats, the opposition 48, and Arab parties 12. Crucially, no bloc reaches the 61-seat majority required to form a government.
Other parties also saw changes: Democrats rose to 10 seats, while Naftali Bennett's "Bayit Yehudi" fell to 9 seats. Israel Beiteinu strengthened to 8 seats. Religious parties like United Torah Judaism and Shas hold 8 and 7 seats respectively, while the Religious Zionism and Identity parties remain at 6. The Joint List holds 7 seats, and Ra'am has 5.
Parties below the electoral threshold include one led by Zelicha and Handel at 2.2%, with Blue and White, the Haredi Public, Israel First, and Noam all polling below 1%.
