New Poll Shows Potential Shift in Right-Wing Support
A new poll released by i24NEWS indicates stability for the Likud party, which remains at 27 seats, but shows volatility among other parties. Gadi Eisenkot's "Yesh!" party has seen a decline, dropping to 21 seats from 22 in the previous survey.
Within the right-wing bloc, a notable shift is occurring between Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit party and Ofer Winter's "Am Israel" party. "Am Israel" has gained one seat, rising to 5, while Otzma Yehudit has fallen to 7 seats from 8.
Despite these internal movements, the overall bloc numbers remain consistent with the prior poll. The current coalition is projected to receive 60 seats, the opposition 48, and Arab parties 12. Crucially, neither bloc reaches the 61-seat majority required to form a government.
Other parties show mixed results: the Democrats gain one seat to 10, while Naftali Bennett's "Yachad" weakens from 10 to 9 seats. Israel Beiteinu strengthens to 8 seats. Religious parties like the Religious Zionism and Zehut remain at 6 seats, United Torah Judaism at 8, and Shas at 7.
The Joint List holds steady at 7 seats, and Ra'am at 5. Parties led by Zelicha and Handel are polling at 2.2%, below the electoral threshold, with several other parties falling below 1%.
