Israeli Poll Shows Netanyahu's Likud Leading, Eisenkot's Party Slips

A new i24NEWS poll conducted by Direct Polls indicates that Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party maintains its lead in voter intentions with less than six weeks until the Israeli legislative elections, securing 27 seats, a stable result from the previous survey. Gadi Eisenkot's formation, Yashar!, remains in second place with 22 seats but loses one mandate. In contrast, Naftali Bennett's Beyahad party gains a seat, reaching 10 elected officials, while Yair Golan's Democrats hold steady at nine seats.

On the right, Itamar Ben Gvir's Otzma Yehudit gains one seat to reach eight, tied with United Torah Judaism. Aryeh Deri's Shas and Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu are each credited with seven seats, as is the Joint List. The Religious Zionist Party and Zehut alliance receives six seats, and Mansour Abbas's Ra'am secures five.

The most significant decline is seen in Ofer Winter's new party, Amkha Israel, which drops from five seats in the previous poll to four, placing it just above the electoral threshold for Knesset entry. Several other parties, including the Reservists Party and the Economic Party, fall below this threshold, receiving 1.4% of voter intentions, with Blue and White at 1.1%.

The distribution between political blocs remains unchanged: coalition parties total 60 seats, opposition parties have 48, and Arab parties hold 12. Neither major bloc reaches the 61 seats required for a majority in the Knesset.
