IDF Destroys Hezbollah's Secret Command Center in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has completed a large-scale operation in the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, destroying Hezbollah's secret command center and over 1,100 tons of explosives. The operation, involving the 36th Division, Commando Brigade, and the Yahalom unit, targeted the 'Bader' unit's headquarters, a strategic terror stronghold that controlled the Nabatieh area.

The IDF's offensive involved two main phases. First, commando forces secured control of the ridge's surface through ambushes and precise attacks. Subsequently, forces penetrated the complex underground tunnel network, which extended over 5,400 meters, to dismantle Hezbollah's subterranean capabilities. Terrorists attempting to escape or supply the tunnels were eliminated by air and artillery strikes.

During the operation, the IDF uncovered a significant cache of weapons intended for raids, including dozens of explosive drones, advanced UAVs, machine guns, anti-tank missiles, hundreds of mines, and RPGs. The destruction of the Ali Taher infrastructure, following similar operations in the Beaufort ridge and surrounding villages, has rendered the area unusable by the enemy.

This operation is described as a major strategic achievement, effectively neutralizing a key command and control hub for Hezbollah. The IDF emphasizes that the area has been completely cleared and is no longer a threat. Forces remain on high alert in southern Lebanon, prepared for any scenario to ensure the security of northern Israeli residents.
