IDF Destroys Extensive Hezbollah Underground Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli military's 36th Division has completed the destruction of over two kilometers of underground infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah on the Al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon. The extensive network, described by the IDF as a strategic asset built over two decades and funded by Iran, was targeted to neutralize Hezbollah's ability to plan terror attacks against Israel.

During the operation, forces discovered and neutralized dozens of Iranian-made rockets, missiles, and drones, along with machine guns, anti-tank missiles, and hundreds of mines and explosives. The site also housed a central command complex for Hezbollah's 'Badr' unit, including operations rooms, weapons storage areas, and living quarters.

The IDF stated that the operation aimed to degrade Hezbollah's offensive capabilities and prevent the organization from carrying out attacks.
