IDF Declares Victory Over Hezbollah Tunnel Network in Northern Israel

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the completion of an operation to dismantle a significant Hezbollah tunnel and infrastructure network located in the Ali Taher ridge area, near the Lebanese border. IDF Spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari stated that the network was built over two decades with funding and guidance from Iran, serving as a major terror infrastructure. He explained that IDF forces surrounded the area in recent months, intensifying pressure on the tunnels and the terrorists entrenched within.

According to Hagari, all terrorists present in the infrastructure were either killed or fled, despite Hezbollah's public declarations to defend the site at all costs. He asserted that Hezbollah failed in its commitment and abandoned its operatives, leaving them to die. The IDF spokesperson acknowledged the heavy price paid by Israeli forces in the operation, with soldiers falling in battle while securing and clearing the ridge. He dedicated the achievement to the fallen soldiers, emphasizing the IDF's ongoing commitment to defending northern Israeli communities and neutralizing all threats to civilians and soldiers along all borders.
