Wizz Air Expands Israel Operations With New Routes and Increased Frequencies

Low-cost carrier Wizz Air announced a significant expansion of its operations in Israel on Monday, adding 46 weekly flights. This expansion includes the launch of five new routes and increased flight frequencies on 11 existing routes. The new flights are already available for purchase on the company's website and app.

The five new routes connecting Israel to European destinations are: Catania with four weekly flights, London Gatwick with five weekly flights, Venice with three weekly flights, Cluj with two weekly flights, and Iasi with two weekly flights.

In addition to the new routes, Wizz Air is increasing the number of weekly flights to eleven popular destinations. Flights to Budapest will increase from 14 to 21 per week, Milan from 7 to 14, Bucharest from 11 to 14, and Rome from 12 to 14. Flights to Bratislava and Naples will increase from 5 to 7 weekly flights each. Sofia and Athens will see their weekly flights rise from 5 to 7. Vilnius will increase from 2 to 4 weekly flights, Warsaw from 4 to 5, and Varna from 2 to 3 weekly flights.
