Israel Issues Heightened Travel Warnings for Egypt, Jordan, UAE Ahead of Holidays
Israel's National Security Council (NSC) has issued an urgent, updated travel advisory, strongly urging Israelis to completely refrain from traveling to or staying in several regional destinations. The advisory, released ahead of upcoming holidays, cites heightened security concerns.
Full bans on staying in Egypt, including the Sinai Peninsula, Jordan, Qatar, and Somaliland are in effect. Additionally, a "permanent danger" warning applies to Iran's surrounding countries, specifically Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Azerbaijan.
Israel has also imposed a complete entry ban for its citizens to Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Somalia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, and Algeria. The NSC called for the immediate cancellation of all planned trips and adherence to security instructions to prevent potential targeting abroad.
