Hezbollah Launches Explosive Drones at IDF; Israel Strikes Southern Lebanon
Hezbollah launched two explosive drones towards Israeli forces operating in the Ali Taher ridge area overnight. Israeli soldiers fired at one of the drones and intercepted it. No Israeli soldiers were harmed in the incident.
In response to the drone attack, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon. The IDF stated that the targeted infrastructure was used by Hezbollah operatives to plan and direct terror attacks aimed at harming IDF forces and Israeli civilians.
The IDF emphasized that the strikes were carried out to neutralize an immediate threat.
