Hezbollah Drone Attack Met With Israeli Strikes in Nabatieh Area
The Israeli military reported that Hezbollah launched two explosive-laden drones towards IDF forces operating in the Al-Taher mountain ridge area of southern Lebanon overnight. IDF soldiers fired at one of the drones, successfully intercepting it, with no Israeli casualties reported.
In response to the drone launch, Israeli forces conducted strikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon. According to the IDF spokesperson, these facilities were utilized by Hezbollah operatives for planning and directing terror attacks against both IDF forces in the security zone and Israeli civilians.
The IDF stated that the strikes were carried out to neutralize an immediate threat. The military further affirmed its commitment to continuing operations in the ridge area, vowing to prevent terrorists from advancing and executing terror plots against Israeli forces.
