Hezbollah Drone Attack Met by Israeli Strikes on Lebanese Infrastructure
Hezbollah launched two explosive drones towards Israeli forces positioned in the Ali Taher ridge area overnight Wednesday, shortly after initial reports of false alarms in the Galilee were clarified. Israeli soldiers successfully intercepted one of the drones, with no casualties reported among the forces. In response to the drone attack, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh region of southern Lebanon.
The IDF stated that the attacked infrastructure was utilized by Hezbollah operatives for planning and directing terror attacks against both IDF forces and Israeli civilians. These strikes were carried out to neutralize an immediate threat. The military affirmed its commitment to operating in the ridge area and preventing terrorists from advancing or executing attacks against Israeli forces. The IDF also declared its ongoing and future actions against Hezbollah's repeated attempts to harm Israeli soldiers.
