IDF Strikes Hezbollah Infrastructure After Drone Attack on Northern Israel

The Israeli military announced Wednesday that Hezbollah launched two explosive drones towards Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon. No Israeli casualties were reported. In response, the IDF targeted Hezbollah terror infrastructure.

Earlier, air raid sirens sounded in the Upper Galilee region of northern Israel due to an incoming hostile aircraft. The IDF stated that interceptors were launched towards a suspected aerial target that likely crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory. Initial investigations suggest the interceptors may have been fired at a false target, and no injuries were reported. Rocket and missile alerts were activated following the interception attempts.

In a separate incident, Israeli security forces neutralized three terrorists in the village of Beit Rima in the West Bank. Border Police undercover officers were operating in the village to apprehend individuals involved in disturbances when a violent riot erupted, including stone-throwing at the forces. The officers identified the terrorists posing a threat and eliminated them with precise fire. Israel Police stated that security forces will continue to act decisively against any hostile elements threatening public safety and security personnel.

Meanwhile, the U.S. military declared it had completed its wave of strikes in Iran. Iran reportedly retaliated with drone attacks targeting American interests in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. Explosions were also heard in Eilat, Israel, attributed to Iranian fire towards Jordan. The U.S. military also struck two Iranian tankers in the Strait of Hormuz in response to an earlier attack on two Saudi tankers, a move described as an "eye for an eye" policy.
