Hezbollah Drone Attack Foiled; IDF Strikes Terror Infrastructure in Lebanon
Hezbollah launched two explosive-laden drones towards Israeli forces operating on the Ali Taher ridge overnight. Israeli soldiers fired at one of the drones, successfully intercepting it. No Israeli casualties were reported in the incident.
In response to the drone attack, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted retaliatory strikes against Hezbollah terror infrastructure in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon. These targeted sites were reportedly used by the organization for planning and directing terror attacks.
The IDF confirmed the exchange, stating that the drones were aimed at their forces and that one was neutralized. The subsequent strikes in Lebanon were described as targeting infrastructure used for terror planning.
