IDF Strikes Hezbollah Infrastructure After Drone Attack; Other Incidents Reported

Hezbollah launched two explosive drones towards IDF forces on Mount Ali Tahir in southern Lebanon overnight, with soldiers intercepting one. In response, the IDF conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in the Nabatieh area, also in southern Lebanon, which were used for planning terror attacks. The IDF also reported that during the night, air defense systems were activated in northern Israel due to a suspected hostile aircraft infiltration, but initial investigations suggest interceptors were likely fired at a false target.

Separately, the military announced the elimination of two Hamas operatives in an airstrike in Gaza. The targeted individuals were identified as Talal Mustafa Saleh Badawi, a commander in Hamas's military security department in Gaza City, and Mumo Said Muhammad Hawari. The IDF stated that these operatives were advancing terror plans against Israeli forces and civilians and were working to restore the organization's capabilities, violating the ceasefire.

In the West Bank, three terrorists who threw stones at Border Police officers in the village of Beit Rima were neutralized by live fire during an IDF operation. The operation was initiated due to repeated attempts to harm security forces in the village.

Meanwhile, in a domestic security development, an indictment was filed against Khamis Sawaed, a resident of the Bedouin village of Husniya in the Misgav region, who allegedly identified with ISIS. He was arrested in recent weeks by the Shin Bet and the Galilee District Police and reportedly studied and trained with the intention of joining the terrorist organization abroad. His investigation revealed he viewed instructional content on combat, weapons, and the production of missiles and drones for terror purposes.

In international news, British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband stated in his first parliamentary address that he would seek to prevent British companies from assisting in the construction of settlements in the West Bank, including projects in the E1 area.
