Hezbollah Drone Attack Foiled; False Alarm Sounds in Northern Israel

Hezbollah launched two explosive-laden drones towards Israeli forces on Mount Ali Taher in southern Lebanon overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday. Israeli soldiers fired at one of the drones, successfully intercepting it, while the second drone was also neutralized. No Israeli soldiers were injured in the attack.

In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon. The IDF stated that these facilities were used by the organization's operatives to plan and direct terror attacks against Israeli forces and civilians, and the strikes were carried out to neutralize an immediate threat.

Early Wednesday morning, around 4:30 AM, air raid sirens sounded in the "Finger of the Galilee" region, including Kibbutz Yuval, Dafna, and Hagoshrim, due to a suspected hostile aircraft infiltration. Initially, the IDF reported launching interceptors at a suspicious aerial target from Lebanon. However, after an initial investigation lasting approximately three hours, the military announced that the interceptors were fired at a false alarm. No casualties were reported from the false alarm.
