Noa Kirel says appendix problem forced her early return from honeymoon
After her big performance at the Amphi Maxi in Rishon LeZion, Noa Kirel flew to Japan for a honeymoon with her new husband, footballer Daniel Peretz. The trip, however, ended earlier than planned after the couple announced on Saturday night that they were returning to Israel because Kirel was dealing with a medical issue during the vacation.
On Sunday, Kirel posted on Instagram and said medical tests showed she had an appendix problem, appendicitis. In a series of photos, she described how the shortened honeymoon moved between restaurants and outings and long hours in hospitals in Japan and then in Israel because of persistent stomach pain.
"We planned a honeymoon, but my appendix did not really cooperate," she wrote. Kirel added, "I am fine," and thanked people for their concern. She also praised Peretz, writing, "I have a perfect husband who took care of me, only health, amen."
