Noa Kirel cuts short Japan honeymoon after emergency appendectomy in Tel Aviv
Singer and international star Noa Kirel abruptly ended her honeymoon in Japan and flew straight back to Israel after a medical emergency. What had been meant to be a romantic dream trip turned into a tense health scare, with rumors circulating online for a full day about why she returned so suddenly.
Kirel addressed the speculation on Thursday morning with a reassuring post from Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. In a photo from her hospital bed, she explained what happened behind the scenes and wrote, “We planned a honeymoon, but my appendix was not really in the mood,” referring to the emergency appendicitis surgery she underwent.
Kirel said she was recovering after the operation and thanked the medical team that treated her. She also praised her new husband for his support during the incident. “I am completely fine, thank you all for your concern. I have a perfect husband who took care of me. Only health, amen,” she wrote.
