Noa Kirel Updates Fans From Hospital After Cutting Short Japan Honeymoon
Singer Noa Kirel posted an update from Ichilov Hospital after falling ill during her honeymoon in Japan and returning early to Israel. She was hospitalized because of an appendix-related problem, which forced her to stop the trip.
On Sunday morning, Kirel told followers, "We planned a honeymoon but my appendix was not really cooperating." She added, "I am fine, thank you all for the concern. I have a perfect husband who took care of me. Only health, amen."
Reports on Saturday night said Kirel and her husband, football goalkeeper Daniel Peretz, had flown to Japan about six months after their wedding. Shortly after landing in Tokyo, she felt unwell, returned to Israel, and was admitted to a hospital in central Israel.
The trip came after a very busy period for the couple. Kirel recently completed two large concerts in Rishon LeZion and other projects, while Peretz continued with matches and training abroad and this week signed a new four-year contract with Southampton.
