Noa Kirel's honeymoon cut short after she fell ill in Japan and was hospitalized in Israel
Israeli singer Noa Kirel and her husband, footballer Daniel Peretz, finally managed to take their first honeymoon as a married couple, but it ended abruptly after she fell ill in Tokyo and returned to Israel. Kirel was admitted to a hospital in central Israel, and her family has asked for privacy while she remains hospitalized under discretion.
The trip came only six months after their wedding and followed an especially busy period for both. Kirel had been focused on staging major performances at the Ampi Max Live Park in Rishon LeZion and on other projects, while Peretz was in a demanding training and match schedule overseas. This week, he also formally signed a lucrative four-year contract with Southampton.
The couple married in November in a small, intimate ceremony in Jaffa attended by about 100 close relatives and friends. The next day, they held a large celebration at the Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv with roughly 1,000 guests, mostly from the entertainment industry.
