Noa Kirel’s honeymoon cut short after sudden illness in Tokyo
Singer Noa Kirel and footballer Daniel Peretz finally left last week for their honeymoon in Japan, more than six months after their lavish wedding. The trip was supposed to last two weeks, but it was interrupted soon after they landed in Tokyo because Kirel began feeling unwell.
The couple flew back to Israel, and Kirel was admitted to a hospital in central Israel. Her family asked for privacy during her hospitalization. The incident ended the long-awaited break almost as soon as it began.
The past few weeks had been packed for both of them. Kirel had been working intensely on her two large performances at Amphi Park in Rishon LeZion earlier this month, while Peretz had been training on a tight schedule and recently signed with Southampton.
Kirel and Peretz were married in November in two separate celebrations. The first was an intimate event in Jaffa with close family and friends, and the second was a major reception in Tel Aviv attended by about 1,000 guests, including celebrities and many sports colleagues.
