IDF Uncovers Hezbollah Weapons Cache Hidden in South Lebanon's Majdal Zoun Village

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recently conducted an operation in the village of Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon, within the security zone, aimed at neutralizing threats to Israel. Reserve forces from Brigade 55, under the command of Division 91, discovered a significant cache of weapons concealed within civilian infrastructure. The seized arsenal included Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, ammunition, grenades, explosives, anti-tank missiles, and mortar shells. In addition to confiscating these arms, the IDF destroyed buildings used by Hezbollah in the area. The military emphasized that the operation's goal was to eliminate threats to Israeli forces and civilians and vowed to continue countering Hezbollah's attempts to use civilian structures for military purposes. This action is part of ongoing IDF efforts to locate and dismantle terrorist infrastructure and weaponry near the border to prevent Hezbollah from rebuilding offensive capabilities in the region.
