IDF Destroys Hezbollah Underground Command Post Beneath Lebanese Factory

Israeli forces from Brigade 401, under the command of Division 91, conducted an operation in the security zone in southern Lebanon to neutralize threats against Israel. During the mission in the village of Haddatha, soldiers from Battalion 601 and the Combat Engineering Corps destroyed an underground tunnel system used as a command post by the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The tunnel extended approximately 55 meters and contained three living chambers. It was constructed beneath a building manufacturing construction materials and located about 300 meters from a UNIFIL facility. Additionally, the forces discovered an underground shaft within the tunnel area containing dozens of weapons and ammunition. The operation highlights ongoing Israeli efforts to dismantle Hezbollah's military infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
