IDF Destroys Hezbollah Underground Tunnel in Southern Lebanon Near UNIFIL Base
Israeli Defense Forces units from Battalion 601 and the Engineering Corps destroyed an underground tunnel used as a Hezbollah command post during operations in the village of Hdata in southern Lebanon. According to an IDF spokesperson, the tunnel was approximately 55 meters long and contained three living chambers. The tunnel was constructed beneath a building materials factory and located about 300 meters from a UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) building. Additionally, a subterranean shaft was discovered in the area containing dozens of weapons.
