IDF Destroys Hezbollah Underground Command Post Near UNIFIL Base in Southern Lebanon

Israeli Defense Forces soldiers from Brigade 401 and the Yahalom unit destroyed an underground Hezbollah command post in southern Lebanon. The facility was located beneath a building materials factory near a UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) structure, approximately 300 meters away. The underground tunnel system extended about 55 meters and included three living chambers and a vertical shaft. During the operation, the forces discovered dozens of weapons inside the tunnel. The combat team of Brigade 401, under the command of Division 91, continues to operate in the security zone of southern Lebanon to neutralize threats to Israel. The IDF emphasized its commitment to removing all threats posed by Hezbollah and preventing attacks on Israeli civilians. The entire tunnel system was destroyed during the operation.
