IDF Destroys Hezbollah's Most Strategic Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have destroyed what a security official described as Hezbollah's most strategic infrastructure in southern Lebanon, located on the Ali Taher ridge. Lebanese media released footage of the operation, which involved detonating over 1,100 tons of explosives to demolish underground terror infrastructure stretching more than two kilometers.

The destroyed facilities contained dozens of Iranian-made rockets, missiles, and drones, along with machine guns, anti-tank missiles, and hundreds of mines and explosives. The IDF also reported discovering a central command complex belonging to Hezbollah's "Badr" unit within the infrastructure. This complex included operational rooms, weapons storage, and living quarters, enabling terrorists to manage combat operations and stay in the area for extended periods.

The IDF stated that the operation targeted significant terror infrastructure, underscoring the strategic importance of the site. The destruction is expected to significantly hamper Hezbollah's operational capabilities in the region.
