IDF Forces Destroy Dozens of Hezbollah Weapons in South Lebanon Security Operation
IDF forces from Division 91 are conducting ongoing operations to locate and destroy Hezbollah's weapons caches in southern Lebanon. In recent days, fighters from Brigades 401, 4, and 300 have uncovered and seized numerous combat weapons and equipment during extensive security sweeps in the area. The seized arsenal included Kalashnikov rifles, RPG rockets, explosives, grenades, magazines, and additional combat gear.
Alongside the weapons seizures, troops from Brigade 55 and the reconnaissance unit 869 (Shahaf) neutralized an immediate threat near Ras Baida. A suspect approached IDF forces in a manner deemed threatening. After warning shots failed to deter him, soldiers fired to eliminate the danger and ensure the safety of the troops.
These operations form part of a continuous effort by the IDF to disrupt Hezbollah's military infrastructure and prevent attacks on Israeli forces along the border. The IDF spokesperson provided photographic documentation of the weapons destroyed and the operational activities.
The IDF continues to maintain high alert and operational readiness in the security zone to counter any threats and secure the area from terrorist activity.
