IDF Uncovers and Destroys Hezbollah Weapons Cache in Southern Lebanon Village

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered dozens of weapons hidden within civilian infrastructure in the village of Majdal Zun in southern Lebanon. The operation, conducted by reservists from the 55th Brigade Combat Team under the command of the 91st Division, aimed to neutralize threats directed at Israeli territory. During searches of buildings and homes, the forces seized a large cache including Kalashnikov rifles, magazines, ammunition, grenades, explosives, anti-tank missiles, and mortar shells.

Alongside confiscating the weapons, the IDF also destroyed structures in the village that Hezbollah militants used for operational purposes. This activity is part of ongoing efforts to prevent attacks against Israel from southern Lebanon.

The IDF spokesperson released footage documenting the operation, highlighting the discovery of the weapons stockpile concealed among the civilian population and the demolition of terrorist infrastructure used by Hezbollah.
